Sir John Dankworth
We join the world of music in mourning the death of John Dankworth and send our heartfelt condolences to Cleo, Jacqui and Alec.
We worked with John on various publications including his saxophone tutor Sax from the Start. We also hosted him, his band and Cleo in a good number of concerts as part of our Concerts in Churches series in 2005.
John was always a delight to be with, the most modest of men, a towering genius and an all round good person.
